When you're undergoing regular treatments, frequent trips to and from the hospital, hospital wait times, and balancing work, family and social schedules can be tough. GU Health Care at Home provides you with more choice and comfort when it comes to your treatment options, reducing the time you spend in hospital.

Please note that GU Health Care @ Home will only be available to eligible members where their specialist assesses that it is safe and clinically appropriate.

Health Care at Home services can help eligible members receive their hospital treatment from the comfort of their home.

Chemo at Home

When you're undergoing regular treatments, frequent trips to and from the hospital can be tough. This service provides eligible members, where clinically appropriate, the option to receive chemotherapy treatments at home, giving you more control over your treatment, with less disruption to you and your family's daily lives.

Haemodialysis at Home

This service provides eligible members, where clinically appropriate, the option to receive Haemodialysis treatments at home in a comfortable, familiar and private environment.

This service provides eligible members, where clinically appropriate, the option to receive IV treatments at home.

This service provides eligible members, where clinically appropriate, the option to receive negative pressure Wound Care at home.

Orthopaedic Rehab at Home

Orthopaedic Rehab at Home provides eligible members with the option to receive intensive physiotherapy in the comfort of their home where clinically appropriate* following a total hip or knee replacement to get them mobile as soon as possible.

Program duration: Varies

*The member's treating team will determine whether Orthopaedic Rehab at Home is suitable to facilitate an early discharge from hospital. This will occur where the same level of rehabilitation can be adequately provided in the comfort of the home.
