GU Health merged with the Australian Unity Group in 2005. Australian Unity is a national healthcare, financial services and retirement living organisation providing services to 560,000 Australians.
As a member of the Australian Unity Group, GU Health benefits from the support of a larger entity while maintaining the flexibility to innovate and tailor solutions with ease.
GU Health is a member of the Australian Health Services Alliance (AHSA). This body represents 27 of the 37 registered private health funds across Australia. These health funds jointly negotiate commercially advantageous hospital contracts that allow them to compete with Australia’s largest health funds.
GU Health is a signatory to the Private Health Insurance Code of Conduct. The code ensures that you will always have clear information and transparency in your relationship with us.
