GU Health has been part of the Australian Unity Group since February 2005. Australian Unity
is a national health, retirement living and financial services organisation that has been
dedicated to serving the needs of its members for over 165 years.
As a member of the Australian Unity Group, GU Health benefits from a range of efficiencies
that come from being part of a larger entity ‑ whilst enjoying the ongoing challenge of
providing innovative tailored solutions for our corporate clients.
GU Health is also a member of the Australian Health Services Alliance (AHSA). This body
represents 24 of the 38 registered private health funds across Australia. These health funds
join forces to negotiate commercially advantageous hospital contracts that enable them to
compete on a level playing field with the largest health funds.
