When comparing corporate health plan options between funds, consider how well they can deliver these benefits to your employees:
- Percentage of cost rebates. With most GU Health extras covers members can claim back a percentage of the actual cost of the treatment or service ‑ some even pay 100% of cost*. Most other health funds only pay a maximum fixed benefit.
- Freedom to choose practitioners. Provided that a practitioner is registered with GU Health (which means we have been able to verify their qualifications) we pay full benefit entitlements for all practitioners ‑ there are no preferred provider lists.
